The City of Hope Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload of individuals, couples, children, and families.
• Facilitate brief individual therapy sessions, evaluating clinical progress and modifying treatment approaches as necessary to meet patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based practices informed by the latest research in pain psychology and chronic trauma care.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure collaborative care and share insights with colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and secure patient records, adhering to all privacy laws and ethical guidelines.
• Develop and lead workshops or support groups to educate clients about coping strategies and relational skills.
• Guide patients in navigating life's transitional challenges, while offering coaching and support to promote positive behavioral changes.
• Provide direct psychological clinical services primarily to injured workers, ensuring care plans address pain management and recovery.

Your caseload will predominantly consist of clients managing chronic pain and trauma-related issues. A significant part of your role will involve aiding clients in achieving greater emotional and relational stability while dealing with the impact of their ongoing health challenges. A therapeutic environment that prioritizes understanding and empathy will be maintained, fostering trust that is essential for effective treatment.

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Possession of a current, valid LMFT license in the state of Washington.
• At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services, particularly within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with relevant privacy, health, and safety regulations that govern the provision of mental health care.
• Strong organizational skills to manage patient files and clinical documentation effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, necessary for counseling clients and collaborating with team members.
• Analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.

• Experience working with clients in pain management and trauma recovery.
• A background in integrated therapeutic approaches is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and professionals alike, fostering a supportive environment for healing.

Your efforts will be recognized with a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes:
