A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Prior Authorization LPN in Remote (U.S.) The Prior Authorization LPN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

LPN/LVN Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LPN/LVN Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is:
    • Training (8 weeks): Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST
    • Post-training: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, shifts between 10:00 AM–6:30 PM CST
    • Flexibility, overtime, and weekend availability may be required (based on business needs)
  • Fully remote (no onsite requirements)

LPN/LVN Responsibilities

  • Review and process prior authorization requests using clinical criteria and supporting documentation
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls while meeting productivity, quality, and service level expectations
  • Navigate multiple systems/tools simultaneously with speed and accuracy
  • Review chart notes, claims history, and prior authorization history to support accurate determinations
  • Document decisions thoroughly and accurately; escalate cases when appropriate
  • Maintain strong attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours in a metrics-driven environment

LPN/LVN Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license
  • 2+ years of recent prior authorization experience (PBM, specialty medical office/MDO, or clinical setting)
  • Experience using CoverMyMeds (or similar authorization platforms)
  • Ability to hardwire a PC into modem/router (not Wi-Fi only)
  • Ability to provide internet speed/service type information
  • Completed computer skills assessment submitted with resume (per prescreen requirements)
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LPN/LVN Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior authorization experience in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
  • Strong multitasking ability across clinical systems and communication platforms
  • PBM or specialty office prior authorization background
