Job description

UV Print Coordinator

2nd shift, 3pm-11pm, Duncansville

*This position will train on 1st Shift (7am-3pm)*

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with Inventory Control in preparing quotes for Custom jobs.
  • Work with the Graphic Design team of new prints designs and or lay outs
  • Work with PD in projecting cost changes
  • Assist in the training and development of UV print operators
  • Oversee required PM of printers is preformed
  • Assist engineering team with machine improvements
  • Assist Inventory Control with raw material orders
  • Assist the Quality Management team in root cause determination when needed.
  • Load and prep master rolls, make process adjustments as needed per specification, unload finished goods, package & label product.
  • Download image files into UV printer and check for proper image set-up and quality.
  • Use on-board software system to position image properly for printing
  • Trouble shoot equipment and image file as needed to achieve specified image quality.
  • Adherence to all quality standards and specifications
  • Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed
  • Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system
  • Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed including assignment to other work centers as needed.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness

Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Trouble shooting skills – ability to use logic and reasoning to solve problems
  • Computer skills – Advanced computer skills, ability to learn graphics software.
  • Math skills – square yard and linear yard calculations, unit conversions
  • Physical activity - lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability and willingness to learn and perform duties across other areas of the production floor as needed
  • Production standards - Capable of producing all products to standard rate
  • Quality System – Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary
