Duties for the Press Operator Helper:
As a Printing Press Helper, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced Press Operators, playing a key role in keeping printing production running smoothly. Every day brings variety, teamwork, and the satisfaction of seeing tangible results from your work.
- Prepare upcoming job orders ensuring continuous press production
- Assist with printing press setup and cleanup alongside the Press Operator
- Clean presses and maintaining a clean, organized pressroom
- Monitor and maintain supply inventory at each press
Requirements for the Press Operator Helper:
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- At least 1 year of printing press assistance experience
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Good vision, including color and depth perception
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
- Strong communication skills for working with teammates and supervisors
