Job description

Mancan is seeking a Printing Press Operator in Ashland, Ohio.
This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance. Hours are 8 am - 4 pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
Pay is based upon experience: $17-$20 per hour.
As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating digital inkjet and multi-lith offset presses to produce high-quality imprints. Your duties will include interpreting job instructions, performing maintenance on equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Digital Inkjet press and Multi-Lith offset press.
- Read and interpret job instructions and specifications accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-train as necessary.
- Perform preventative maintenance on press equipment, including changing ink cartridges, print heads, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
- Examine printed books during press runs to maintain quality assurance standards.
- Meet estimated timeframes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain good physical dexterity.
- Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet as required by the schedule.
- Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience is advantageous.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work as requested by management.
