This is not a desk-only role. The Store Manager understands printing, can step into production, and oversees the team to make sure all jobs are completed correctly and on time.

What You’ll Do

Daily Operations & Production Oversight

  • Plan and organize daily print jobs based on deadlines and priorities

  • Assign jobs to the right team members and adjust as needed throughout the day

  • Ensure all print jobs are completed accurately and on time

  • Make sure jobs are packaged, invoiced, and picked up on time

Team Leadership & Scheduling

  • Schedule employees and ensure proper coverage

  • Make sure team members show up on time and are productive during shifts

  • Track time-off requests and attendance

  • Train, guide, and support team members

  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment

Administrative & Inventory Responsibilities

  • Order paper and supplies

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or delays

  • Ensure invoices are accurate and completed properly

  • Keep job records and production paperwork organized

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

  • Assist with customer questions, orders, and problem resolution

  • Look for opportunities to upsell print products and services

  • Help develop in-store promotions, specials, or discounts when appropriate

Store Management & Communication

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and professional-looking

  • Monitor daily performance and store results

  • Share ideas to improve efficiency, customer experience, and sales

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong computer skills
Comfortable using software, learning new systems, and handling digital job tracking.

  • Print experience or strong print knowledge
You understand how printing works, can adapt quickly to new tools and workflows and are open to learning better, more efficient ways of doing things.

  • Organized and detail-oriented
You can manage multiple jobs, deadlines, and responsibilities without losing track.

  • Leadership mindset
You lead by example, support your team, and hold people accountable respectfully.

  • Reliable and adaptable
You handle changes calmly and adjust plans as needed throughout the day.

  • Fast-paced and deadline-driven

This role is NOT:

  • A desk-only management position

  • A role removed from production or customers

  • A corporate or overly bureaucratic environment

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who:
