Job description

We are hiring a Ink Technician Trainee to support daily production operations at a manufacturing customer site. This is a hands-on role responsible for mixing, batching, testing, and delivering inks to support production needs.
Schedule: 2nd Shift - 4:00PM - 12:00AM M-F
Responsibilities:
Mix, batch, and prepare inks according to production formulas and customer specifications
Perform quality checks including color, consistency, and viscosity to ensure product meets required standards
Package, label, and transport ink materials safely throughout the production area
Maintain accurate batch records and inventory usage as needed
Support housekeeping, organization, and safe handling of chemicals and production materials
Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of MS Office
Requirements:
Previous manufacturing, production, batching, blending, chemical, paint/coatings, or printing experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and safely move 500 lbs drums using standard material handling equipment
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formulas, instructions, and safety procedures
