The UPS Store is actively hiring for Retail Sales Associate / Print and Graphic Design Specialist, Shift Supervisors and Managers
Full and Part time hours with flexible availability (Some Saturday & Sundays required)

A candidate with previous experience at The UPS Store or with shipping, packing, printing will be given priority.

The UPS Store in Milford, Ma seeks associates with outstanding customer service skills while working in a fast paced, friendly and enthusiastic environment. Packaging—Shipping—Passport and Notary Services—Mailbox Rentals—Postal Services—Document Shredding Service - Copying, Printing and Office Center- Large format banner / sign printing and design services
The ideal associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

Essential duties include Assisting customers with the above products or services, using computers and software applications including Point of Sale System. Operate copy, binding and laminating equipment and sort incoming mail daily into mailboxes. Be responsible for the opening and closing duties of the store including generating sales reports. Previous key holder experience preferred!

Qualifications Require: Previous customer service experience in a retail environment. Operate a POS system and computers with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Operate all other software packages for computers and be able to type 35 wpm. Must have the ability to be a copy and print center expert. Must have experience in using Adobe Suite, Publisher and Photo-shop Must also possess the ability to stand for long periods and lift fifty pounds regularly without difficulty. Must have a valid driver’s license to move and park trucks. Previous experience @ a pack & shipping retail store preferred but not required (Willing to train qualified candidates)

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must be sales driven, self-motivated, personable, dependable, and willing to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. You should be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week and must be available to work some Saturday & Sundays. This is not a seasonal job; applicants must be available on a permanent basis.

Compensation: based on experience. Automatic pay increase on completion of training.

  • Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
  • Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
  • Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
  • Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
  • Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS            

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Outstanding phone skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
  • Prompt, reliable, and responsible
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds
  • Willing and able to work 25 to 30 hours per week for a 6-day work week
