STAUD Clothing, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, has an opening for a part-time Print Assistant role in Los Angeles.

Role Overview

The part-time Print Assistant will handle about 6-10 prints per season and maintain print related team documents. This role will be in office for 2-3 days of the week.


Essential Duties:

  • Put provided artworks into repeat for a successful overall print
  • Recolor existing prints
  • Create basic repeat prints with direction from the team
  • Digitize purchased artworks to create print renderings for beading or embroidery
  • Make pitch sheets to scale
  • Build color palettes
  • Color chip prints with Pantone TCX book
  • Occasionally maintain and update seasonal print pages in shared design decks
  • Prep print boards for in person print meetings


Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Education

  • Experience with print design
  • Familiarity with textiles
  • Experience with creating design files for embroidery and beading


Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner.
  • Ability to easily move throughout an office with ease.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally.
  • Ability to utilize office equipment in a safe and prudent manner, including a copy machine, fax machine, computer, telephone, and other general office equipment that may be used regularly.
  • Ability to work with many different personalities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Correctable vision and hearing.
  • Ability to work on-site as needed.
