Shift Availability: 1st Shift (4:45 AM - 5:00 PM) or 2nd Shift (4:45 PM - 5:00 AM)
Schedule: 2 Days On / 2 Days Off / 3 Days On Rotation

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Printer Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring printing equipment to ensure the accurate production of printed cartons. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up printing equipment according to job specifications and production requirements.

  • Load and prepare inks, printing plates, and other materials needed for production runs.

  • Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal print quality, color accuracy, and product consistency.

  • Monitor printing operations throughout production runs to identify and correct issues such as misprints, registration problems, or color variations.

  • Perform routine quality inspections to verify products meet customer and company standards.

  • Document production data, including job numbers, machine settings, quality checks, and production results.

  • Maintain accurate production and quality records throughout each shift.

  • Inspect printing equipment for wear, defects, or operational concerns.

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery.

  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel when repairs are required.

  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
