Job description

Copy Doctor is looking for a hands-on, organized, and tech-comfortable Store Manager to lead daily operations at our print center. This role is ideal for someone who can balance production, people, and customer service, while keeping the shop running smoothly and efficiently.

This is not a desk-only role. The Store Manager understands printing, can step into production, and oversees the team to make sure all jobs are completed correctly and on time.

What You’ll Do

Daily Operations & Production Oversight

  • Plan and organize daily print jobs based on deadlines and priorities

  • Assign jobs to the right team members and adjust as needed throughout the day

  • Ensure all print jobs are completed accurately and on time

  • Make sure jobs are packaged, invoiced, and picked up on time

Team Leadership & Scheduling

  • Schedule employees and ensure proper coverage

  • Make sure team members show up on time and are productive during shifts

  • Track time-off requests and attendance

  • Train, guide, and support team members

  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment

Administrative & Inventory Responsibilities

  • Order paper and supplies

  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or delays

  • Ensure invoices are accurate and completed properly

  • Keep job records and production paperwork organized

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

  • Assist with customer questions, orders, and problem resolution

  • Look for opportunities to upsell print products and services

  • Help develop in-store promotions, specials, or discounts when appropriate

Store Management & Communication

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and professional-looking

  • Monitor daily performance and store results

  • Share ideas to improve efficiency, customer experience, and sales
