SmartTalent is looking to a hire Bindery Associates for a commercial printing company in Tukwila, WA. Ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment and has experience working with bindery equipment. (details below).

TITLE: Bindery Associate

LOCATION: Tukwila, WA

SCHEDULE: 7am-3:30pm

PAY: $23-$27

Summary/Objective:

The Print Shop Bindery Associate is crucial to ensuring printed products are carefully finished and prepared for shipping or local delivery. Role is responsible for working closely with the production team to manage products through the bindery process.


Key Responsibilities:

·Prepare product materials for shipment (finishing, packaging, labeling, documentation, etc)

·Perform quality checks to ensure printed materials meet color, alignment, and finish standards.

·Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, including inventory of shipping supplies.

·Accurately record production data and maintain detailed logs.

·Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals.

·Adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies.

·Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow or equipment needs.

Requirements:

·Previous experience operating bindery or print production equipment preferred.

·Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery quickly.

·Basic computer skills

·Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for 8+ hours per shift.

·Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

·Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
