Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Print Services Workflow Lead in Indianapolis, IN.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Responsibilities

The print services lead will coordinate team members and workflow in the completion of daily needs related to printed materials and acts as a technical and operational resource to those in the department. This position is responsible for researching and resolving problems, liaising with other departments when needed. This position will provide support to the Global Kit Production Management team and supervisors by communicating daily print workflow issues and is responsible for actual resolution.

  • Demonstrate the ability to give clear and accurate instructions to the staff
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi task
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
  • Organize meetings with others to discuss required printed materials and pending issues as well to prioritize any critical tasks
  • Directs and or redirects team members to accommodate volume changes and client deadlines
  • Demonstrates flexibility by doing other duties as assigned
  • Completes and manages daily tasks
  • Ensures investigator documents are printed, associated and consolidated
  • Ensures PO's and other requests for printed materials are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintains a digital repository of all completed PO's
  • Creates or alters files and/or digital images in preparation for printing
  • Ensures Consumable Material is Ordered and Placed into stock
  • Operates print shop equipment such as production printers, folding machines and UV coaters
  • Supports departmental staff
  • Directs workflow of designated areas
  • Provides basic troubleshooting for all department printers, including production printers
  • Informs management of extraordinary events and or potential problems that may affect the department productivity or on time delivery
  • Informs management of personnel issues
  • Assumes leadership role in the supervisor absence
  • Generates an appropriate audit trail for all activities
  • Assists in sign off of checklists, books, freezers and refrigerators
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provides inputs into SOP, policies, NSSO's, RI and training as needed
  • Responsible for submitting staff access requests
  • Adheres to established SOP and safety precaution guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

  • One year experience with print queue management software such as Fiery and Command Workstation
  • One year experience performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production printers
  • High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years experience with print queue management software such as Fiery and Command Workstation
  • Three years experience performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production printers
