Job description

Express Employment Professionals seeks a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join a growing print production team in Augusta, GA as a Print Production Associate . If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


The ideal associate has experience in print production, manufacturing, machine operation, graphic design, or related production environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, quality-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting production deadlines.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Run high-volume digital printers, paper cutters, laminators, hole punchers, and bindery machines HP Plotter
  • File Preparation: Review, size, and troubleshoot digital files to make them print-ready.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished goods for color accuracy, correct fonts, and proper alignment.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Box, label, and organize items for customer pickup or courier delivery (You may have to make deliveries at times).
  • Inventory Management: Monitor paper stocks, toner levels, and general shop supplies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of print production experience
  • 2-year associates degree preferred
  • Graphic design experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Occasionally make deliveries
  • Pass a drug and background screening
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Ability to read job tickets or instructions.
  • Ability to stand for long shifts
  • Lift 20+ pounds regularly.
  • Skill printing on various machines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hardworking, dependable, and organized
  • Must have experience with emails
  • Experience using Photoshop and Adobe
  • Some training will be provided
