Job Title: Summer RFID Card Production & Configuration Associate Intern (Temporary)

Location: Georgetown, TX 78628 (Onsite Only – No Remote Work)

Pay: $16.00 – $17.50 per hour

Schedule: Part-time, 25–30 hours per week (flexible around your summer plans)

Duration: 6–10 weeks (June through mid-August)

About SMART tagTM SMART tagTM by Secured Mobility LLC is a leading SaaS technology platform for K-12 pupil transportation. We equip school buses with onboard tablets and RFID card readers that enhance student safety and security while eliminating paper-based processes for improved efficiency and operations optimization.

About the Role We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with RFID card production and light assembly work for our school district customers. The work includes operating machines that print and encode RFID cards, card printer configuration, tablet configuration, and light assembly of tablet cradles. Full training is provided — no prior experience needed. This is a great short-term summer opportunity to earn competitive pay in a clean, air-conditioned environment while gaining hands-on technical experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feed blank RFID cards into printing and encoding machines and remove completed cards
  • Perform card printer configuration and basic maintenance
  • Assist with tablet configuration and setup
  • Perform light assembly of tablet cradles and related components
  • Conduct basic quality checks and maintain high accuracy
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
