GBA is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This role is a great opportunity for a student interested in marketing, graphic design, and digital communications to gain real-world experience in a collaborative, fast-paced professional environment.
The Marketing Intern will support firmwide marketing efforts and work closely with team members across markets and affiliates. You'll help create marketing materials, support proposals and events, assist with social media and internal communications, and contribute to design-focused projects. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, creative, and excited to build practical skills while still in school.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with the design and production of marketing materials such as proposals, brochures, qualifications packages, presentations, and other digital and print collateral.
  • Support graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Help gather project information, staff bios, and photos for proposals and marketing databases (CRM � Unanet).
  • Assist with social media content, internal communications, newsletters, e-blasts, and other digital communications.
  • Support trade shows and events, including booth setup, staff coordination, giveaways, and promotional materials.
  • Help prepare award submissions by writing, proofreading, and editing content.
  • Ensure materials follow GBA brand standards and visual guidelines.
  • Take on a variety of marketing, design, digital, and event-related tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field (at least 2 years into school).
  • Interest in graphic design, branding, and digital marketing.
  • Basic experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop preferred).
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
