Job description

Print Operator Job Responsibilities:
โ€ขย ย  ย Prepares and runs jobs on the Xerox printers and ensures all jobs are completed timely and in accordance to customer specifications.
โ€ขย ย  ย Follows all quality control procedures relating to printing.
โ€ขย ย  ย Communicates all issues to Print Production Supervisor when needed. May work directly with Technical Analyst of Print Systems to resolve print output or software related issues.
โ€ขย ย  ย Troubleshoot problem areas in the printing process.
โ€ขย ย  ย Continues to train and learn the technical applications involved in the printing department.
โ€ขย ย  ย Troubleshoot printing equipment issues and work with vendors to resolve/correct problems.
โ€ขย ย  ย Complete all required paperwork and quality control sheets for each job produced.
โ€ขย ย  ย Abides by all guidelines and rules as contained in the Employment Handbook.
โ€ขย ย  ย Maintains positive customer, vendor, and employee relations.
โ€ขย ย  ย Maintains confidentiality of all information.
โ€ขย ย  ย Keeps Print Production Supervisor informed of all pertinent issues.

Print Operator Work Hours/Shifts Available:

โ€ขย ย  ย Full Time, Second Shift
โ€ขย ย  ย Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, approximately 12:30 PM-9:00 PM, occasional weekend work may be required.ย

What will you need as a Print Operator?
โ€ขย ย  ย High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to read and interpret documents.
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work-related situations.
โ€ขย ย  ย To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer knowledge and computer skills.
โ€ขย ย  ย Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints and deadlines.
โ€ขย ย  ย Background in printing preferred but not mandatory.
โ€ขย ย  ย Good organization skills with attention to detail.
