Job description

General Summary of Position
The Returns Associate processes incoming returns accurately, verifies RMAs, inspects product condition, and updates system records. This role ensures timely disposition-restock, repair, or scrap-while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting customer credit issuance.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and log returned goods; verify against RMA and order records.
  • Inspect items for condition and completeness, document findings.
  • Update ERP/WMS with return status and inventory movements.
  • Restock acceptable items and route nonconforming items appropriately.
  • Print documentation and labels for return-to-vendor (RTV) when required.
  • Perform basic quality checks and escalate discrepancies.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of returns processing or warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs safely
  • Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with ERP/WMS
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RMA processes and RTV documentation
  • Knowledge of basic quality inspection standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
