Whether you have experience or you're new to print, we provide training and also cross train in different functions of our Digital Print Facility. We are often asked if this role is in a store, it is not. Staples has dedicated print facilities to handle large print orders that originate from our stores. For some openings, we can be flexible to work around your schedule. Apply today so we can both see if this is a great fit for you.
As a Print Production Associate, you will be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers meet their copy and print needs while being part of a fun, team-oriented culture. Our print facilites are not typically customer facing as larger orders from our stores are sent to our print facilites to complete. You'll produce and finish large copy, print and signage orders coming into our local print facility using high volume digital print equipment.

Help both your print facility, local stores and your customers win.
  • Follow production workflow to produce high volume of work
  • Operate a variety of finishing equipment including cutters, drills and bindery
  • Prepare and troubleshoot various file formats and change to PDF print-ready status
  • Ensure that all work produced in accordance with the job ticket and customer's quality expectations
  • Properly use and care for all equipment. Comply with operating instructions and maintenance schedules
  • Partner with the Production Facility Lead for the timely processing of projects
  • Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned; may also serve as back up driver

Essential skills and experience:
  • Attention to detail and sound organizational skills
  • Experience managing many priorities
  • Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. able to size and print documents)
