The job purpose is to deploy the print quality improvement strategy decided by the Packaging Technology Manager in order to :

  • Support Print Production Manager vision, process & strategy

  • Qualification/audit of current & new printers (targets, process, KPI's)

  • Deploy the print quality improvement strategy & optimize the print quality to the state-of-the-art, whatever the print technology

  • Deploy process and standards for print quality and color management.

  • Control & monitor KPI on pack rendering consistency & quality.

  • First Print scoring and image profiling

  • Prepress and print technology development projects

  • Co-manufacturers evaluation, process, monitoring & KPI's

  • technical support for the graphics team

Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification:

- 4 years Minimum of technical experience on Packaging printing

technology (in printer, or repro house)

2. Knowledge/Experience:

  • Be familiar with Color, Prepress, and Print technics

  • 4 years of professional experience (graphic chain)

  • Successful packaging experience with a repro-house or photoengraver and/or printer

  • Strong capacity to understand all aspects of a problem and apply appropriate solution.

  • Skill to unite interfaces around shared projects.

  • Skill to well-communicate with the different interfaces (internal-external) and report sticking points to the relevant people transparently and objectively

  • Very customer-focused, able to focus on the end result and stick to the target

  • Able to define processes, workflows, performance and quality criteria clearly

  • Good understanding of how a company works, organizational skills, determination, teamwork

  • Educational skills in transferring technical expertise.

  • Individual contributor with solid self-motivation skills
