As the Field Service Technician, you will enjoy making a positive impact on the business and our customers throughย maintaining, servicing, and repairing their office equipment throughout the territory.ย 

Your core focus will be to provide on-site technical support and maintenance for black and white, color, and multifunctional printers, copiers, and other devices at customer locations. As you succeed in this role,ย youโ€™llย build cross-functionalย expertiseย and business acumen, opening doors for future career growth at Toshiba.ย 

This position will enable you to directlyย impactย our customers, the local businesses, organizations, and institutions that are pillars of our communities by ensuring that their office equipment is functioning properly to drive their organizations forward.ย 

What You'll Doย 

  • Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers.ย 
  • Deliver product training efficiently and effectively.ย 
  • Diagnose equipment issues and carry out installations and upgrades.ย 
  • Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.ย 
  • Complete field calls according to priority while practicing effective time management.ย 
  • Continuously enhance your technical skills for field assignments.ย 
  • Rebuild components at the shop.ย 

What You'll Bringย 

  • High School Diploma or GED.ย 
  • 3 years or more ofย expertiseย in one or more of the following:ย ย 
    • Technical repair, service, and installation of copier/office equipment (Preferred).ย 
    • Technical service, repair orย training ofย Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge, or Fingerprint equipment.ย 
    • Technical service, repair, or support of comparable products.ย 
  • Advanced education or certification or internships in respective areas can be used to meet experienceย requirement.ย 
  • Intermediate computer skills and good electro-mechanical skills.ย 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.ย 
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions entailing use of personal car while on company business.ย 

Earn Wellย 

  • $17.00 to $19.00 hourly rate, depending on experience.ย
