Job description

AY2627 Computer Lab Consultant - CTS (Work-Study Required)
Duties include:
  • Monitoring and providing assistance to students and faculty in computer labs across campus, perform basic computer troubleshooting and printer maintenance, and assist with other related duties as assigned.
  • Computer Lab Consultants are responsible for maintaining a clean quiet work area.
  • Qualified candidates will demonstrate good customer service and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to lift and move 20-30lbs.
  • Must be available to work around 11 hours during normal business hours which are M-Th 8:00am-10:00pm, F 8:00am-6:00pm. Weekend hours are also available.
  • Essential Functions: answer phones/emails, perform walk-throughs of the labs, deliver computer supplies on campus, assist with events, troubleshoot basic technology issues/answer computer lab questions
  • Customer Service, Basic technology troubleshooting knowledge, good communications skills.
