Job Summary:
NextGen Federal Systems is an innovative technology and professional services provider specializing in advanced software solutions. They are seeking Principal Software Engineers to support Department of War and Intelligence Community programs, participating in the entire software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• participate in the design, development, deployment and implementation of software products throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
• develop software in a variety of software development languages and environments
Qualifications:
Required:
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or closely related
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required
Preferred:
• Object-Oriented (OO) Programming skills with modern development languages
• Agile software development practices and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira)
• Modern cloud-computing software and tools including distributed computing platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Micro-services, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Modern data architectures and tools: Python, MATLAB, IDL, Java, JavaScript / Typescript, NodeJS, C++
• Frameworks: Angular, Spring Boot, Vue, QT, React
