• Designs and develops software libraries, applications, services, and hardware-software interfaces.
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Performs continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous deployment with available tools.
• Regularly solves complex problems with software design and system integration while considering compliance requirements.
• Writes design documents, writes technical requirements, and creates and edits user manuals.
• Works with research engineers or principal investigators to develop software features.
• Performs independent research to find ideal implementation strategies.
• Proposes strategies to project leads.
