Visiting Angels Largo is looking to hire reliable and experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes throughout Prince George’s County, Maryland. The team is professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable, and supports caregivers with strong office communication, ongoing training, and flexible scheduling.

Position summary

Non-medical caregivers will provide personal care and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes, helping them remain safe and independent. Ideal candidates are mature, dependable professionals with a genuine passion for working with seniors and at least one year of verifiable care giving experience in home care or a similar setting.

 Flexible weekdays, evening, and weekend shifts available throughout Prince George’s County

Requirements

  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current negative PPD or chest X-ray as required by Maryland regulations and agency policy.
  • Ability to meet I-9 employment eligibility requirements and provide state-issued photo ID and Social Security card.
  • Minimum of one year of verifiable experience providing care to clients in a home care agency, assisted living community, or home health care setting.
  • Ability to lift, move, or transfer up to 50 pounds as part of client care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients and their families.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable method of transportation to and from client homes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
