• Provide individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on their specific goals and needs. For instance, adapting exercises for a post-operative patient or adjusting rehabilitation protocols for an athlete recovering from injury.
• Manage a reasonable caseload to ensure that each patient receives thorough attention and care, effectively utilizing appointment durations.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, employing a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to enhance treatment personalization, including utilizing technologies like EMR systems for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Promote non-surgical intervention strategies and wellness programs that emphasize overall health, reducing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nutritionists—to optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed, engaging patients throughout their recovery journey, providing motivation, and celebrating milestones.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client care for compliance and effective treatment tracking.

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and physical therapy modalities, showcasing a strong understanding of biomechanical principles.
• Ability to create and implement effective exercise regimens that cater to individual patient requirements.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, for maintaining precise documentation and communication.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development, staying updated with current research-backed physical therapy practices.

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is strongly preferred, particularly in handling orthopedic cases.
• Demonstrated ability to create innovative programs that have successfully improved patient outcomes.
• Experience with community outreach or wellness programs may be a plus, as we seek to engage and promote holistic health initiatives.

Ortho Prime Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
