Responsibilities vary by position but often include assessing client needs, preparing IV formulations, and maintaining a sterile environment.

What skills and qualifications are needed for a prime IV?

To thrive as a Prime IV Nurse (Infusion Nurse at Prime IV clinics), you need an active RN or LPN license with experience in intravenous (IV) therapy, venipuncture, and infusion protocols. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, infusion pumps, and phlebotomy certifications is often preferred.
