The Role 

Our client is seeking a Prime Production Support Specialist (Prime Brokerage).

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level. 

The successful candidate will be responsible to provide front-office focused Prime Brokerage production support, managing incidents, client connectivity, platform stability, and continuous service improvements across global business and technology teams.

What you'll do

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line production support for Prime Brokerage platforms across Equity Finance, Cash, Synthetics, and reporting systems in a global 24x5 follow-the-sun environment.
  • Act as the primary contact for trading desks, internal users, and clients, handling queries and investigating business and technical issues.
  • Manage client and vendor connectivity, including API- and FTP-based integrations, while overseeing batch processing and system operations.
  • Track, prioritize, and resolve incidents, problems, and recurring issues, driving continuous platform and process improvements, including automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development teams and technology groups across the bank to support releases, escalations, risk management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Work closely with global business and technology stakeholders to support interconnected Prime Brokerage systems and ensure service stability.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Prime Brokerage operations while managing multiple priorities, maintaining effective communication, and delivering high-quality support.Build strong relationships across the global Equities business to drive effective cross-regional collaboration. 

What you bring 

  • Prior application support experience in a banking environment, ideally within a front-office setting, with strong Prime Brokerage knowledge or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging internal teams, external clients, and business users.
  • Experience using AI tools within banking environments, including developing or enhancing functionality to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience supporting Linux-based applications, scripting, and automation solutions.
  • Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys; exposure to Windows Server environments, Java, and Git is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex business and technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
