Primavera P6 Scheduler - Project Controls
Location: Project Site in Yuma, Arizona (On-Site Required)
Schedule: 12-month assignment (July/August 2026 start) with potential for continued work
Compensation: 60-70 /hr (Range represents all possible skill levels, compensation will reflect experience.)
Position Summary
Greenberry Industrial is seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler - Primavera P6 to support a major construction project. This role will serve as the on-site scheduler, responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the project schedule in collaboration with construction and project controls teams.
The Scheduler will work closely with the Project Controls Lead and project leadership, supporting additional project controls functions as needed to ensure overall project success. This position will begin as a temporary assignment with strong potential for long term work according to performance and business need.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on-site scheduler, responsible for maintaining the project construction schedule
  • Develop, implement, and maintain baseline schedules, and track performance against baseline
  • Create and update weekly and monthly schedule reports for project leadership
  • Collaborate with field teams and construction leadership to develop schedules that are aligned, understood, and achievable
  • Identify and communicate:
    • Critical path activities
    • Schedule risks and constraints
    • Delays and impacts to project milestones
  • Support development of lookahead schedules, weekly work plans, and field coordination efforts
  • Assist with recovery planning when project activities fall behind schedule
  • Support delay documentation and schedule impact analysis
  • Work under direction of the Project Controls Lead to support additional project controls activities as needed
  • Maintain schedule integrity through proper logic, sequencing, and progress updates

Qualifications
Required:
  • Demonstrated experience as a construction scheduler in an on-site field environment
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logic development, and schedule management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with field supervision, project managers, and craft teams
  • Experience supporting project controls functions beyond scheduling (cost, reporting, progress tracking)
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint or similar project financial systems

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • This is an on-site role within an active construction environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate active job sites
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods for schedule development and reporting
