Job Description

About the Role

As Loss Prevention Associate, you will assist in Loss Prevention activities within the Distribution Center (DC). You will perform physical security, report policy and procedure violations to leadership, investigate internal theft, monitor processes, audit compliance, and perform data entry, documentation and Gatehouse operations.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the protection of Kohl's physical, human and property assets

  • Monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl's and the Distribution Center

  • Report incidents of associate theft or safety violations

  • Participate in internal theft investigations in strict adherence to Kohl's policies and guidelines

  • Monitor all Kohl's Department Store and Distribution Center safety policies and procedures and actively participate in the Distribution Center Safety Committee

  • Perform Distribution Center Loss Prevention audits to measure accuracy

  • Report production fraud or short-cuts by associates

  • Monitor associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines

  • Perform data entry of all audit results and assigned information

  • Perform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry

  • Assist in store inquiries

  • Participate in the training of newly hired Loss Prevention Associates

  • Additional tasks may be assigned


What Skills You Have

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement and/or Store Loss Prevention experience

  • Certification in the use of power equipment to aid in investigations

Preferred

  • Auditing experience

  • Working knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PeopleSoft

  • Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
