CDL A Driver - Light Touch - $26.00 Per Hour - Harvard, Illinois About the Position

We are looking for CDL Class A Drivers based out of Harvard, Illinois. The work is considered light-touch freight with driver-assist unload. Drivers should be comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate when needed.

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
  • Schedule: 5-6 days per week
  • Shift: Approximately 5:00 AM โ€“ 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver freight to retail locations using automatic equipment
  • Assist with unloading freight in a professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with store personnel and Ryder / True Value site contacts
  • Potentially 3 - 4 layovers per week depending on route
Minimum Requirements
  • 6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
