Job description

PLEASE READ FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Must be 18 or older.

Looking for someone to take care of customers, use cash register, kds, take phone orders, make dough and twist pretzels, open the store. Restaurant, baking or fast food experience and bi-lingual is a plus. Position will be part-time with the potential to become full-time. We are a take-out, factory style, fast-paced, fun, family friendly and creative work environment.

Responsibilities will consist of:

  • Making pretzel dough mix
  • Twisting of pretzels and other pretzel products
  • Processing Customer Transactions and Cash Accountability – attention to details is necessary with all orders receiving/recording and processing, as well as processing the cash transactions
  • Assembling products in packaging
  • Tracking the inventory necessary for daily orders
  • Taking phone and third party orders
  • Display Fanatical Customer Service at all times
  • Ensure that all products are fresh and available for sale throughout the day
  • Sanitizing and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the store all day, and properly disassemble and clean all equipment
  • Stocking drinks and dips

All team members will be trained but we want team members with some experience.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have experience
  • Must clean and close
  • Must be dependable
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be able to reliably commute to store location in New Hyde Park
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, early mornings, weekends and Holidays

* Food Safety Certification, Baking, kitchen and/or fast food experience is a plus!
