We have partnered with a growing top-rated locally owned accounting and client advisory services firm here in the Jacksonville, Fl. area.

This locally owned boutique-CPA and advisory firm is hiring for a new Tax Manager for HNW individuals, as well as complex pass through situations.

Responsibilities:

Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with the ability to research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies
Ability to perform tax prep (minor) and tax review work with multiple entities including partnerships, C Corps, S Corps, High Net Worth individuals, as well as trusts and estate entities

This firm would like to hire someone that is a good leader who can interact well with other tax employees and act as a mentor and coach for more junior tax employees


Qualifications and Background:

  • BA or BS in accounting or equivalent (Finance, Business, Data analytics)
  • Salary of 120,000 - $140,000k per year (USD)
  • 4-5 years of public accounting experience, preferable in a tax role and senior tax role
  • CPA preferred and or CPA in progress and ability to sit for CPA relatively soon with required eligibility
  • Experienced in a variety of Tax / accounting software programs including CCH, ProSystem, and or other tax planning software
  • Experience with tax review on C-Corp, S-Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements
  • Detail oriented and great personal skills working with high profile clients, founders, CEOs, and VPs or multi million dollar organizations
