ABOUT SHINE
Shine is a premium exterior cleaning company operating across Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Raleigh. We do window cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, and holiday lighting for high-end residential and commercial clients. We train from the ground up and promote from within.
THE ROLE
Service Technicians work alongside Van Leads and Senior Techs to execute exterior cleaning jobs at a high level. If you are reliable, coachable, and willing to work hard outdoors, we will teach you everything else. This is one of the best entry points into a skilled trade with direct commission upside from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Work as part of a crew on daily residential and commercial exterior cleaning jobs
  • Perform window cleaning (interior and exterior), pressure washing, soft washing, and gutter cleaning
  • Assist with van loading, equipment setup, and breakdown
  • Follow all safety protocols for ladder use, chemical handling, and equipment operation
  • Maintain a professional appearance and communicate respectfully with customers
  • Complete assigned tasks and checklists to crew standards on every job
  • Progress through service clearances to earn access to more services and higher commission tiers

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Valid driver's license preferred (required to advance)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical work outdoors
  • Reliability and punctuality - this is non-negotiable
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from crew leads
  • No experience required - we train the right people from scratch

COMPENSATION
  • Junior Tech: 11% - 13% commission on general services ($18 per hour)
  • Senior Tech (after advancement): 14%- 15% ($19 per hour)
  • Daily pay is MAX(hourly floor, commission) - your base is always protected
  • Advancement is milestone-based, not tenure-based - performance drives promotion
