Essential Duties:
  • apply pressure to systems such as pipes, vessels, or components to assess integrity and safety
  • observe pressure loss or use leak detectors to locate leaks
  • record pressure readings, leak locations, and corrective actions taken
  • maintain pressure testing equipment to ensure accuracy
  • work with assembly teams to resolve issues and ensure units meet specifications
  • follow safety regulations for pressurized systems, refrigerants, and hazardous materials
  • provide feedback on testing processes and manufacturing quality to improve efficiency and reliability

Key Qualifications:
  • Familiar with pressure testing equipment:
    • Knowledge of pressure gauges, leak detectors, digital monitoring systems, and other testing tools.
  • Understand pressure testing procedures
    • Knowledge of different testing methods, such as hydrostatic testing (using water) and pneumatic testing (using air)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards:
    • Familiar with regulations and guidelines related to pressure systems and safety protocols.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge:
    • Understand of how systems work, including piping, valves, and other components.
  • Physical activity for the role includes:
    • Occasional exposure to variable weather conditions including hot and cold weather
    • Sitting, and standing for prolonged periods
    • Walking for long periods, on variable terrain
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Manual dexterity for computer and other small equipment use
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
