Pressure Test Technicians are skilled professionals who perform tests to ensure the integrity and safety of pipes, vessels, and other equipment that operate under pressure. They use specialized tools and procedures to check for leaks, weaknesses, or defects by applying controlled amounts of pressure. These technicians work in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and construction, where maintaining equipment safety is critical. Their work helps prevent accidents, ensures compliance with safety standards, and extends the lifespan of important infrastructure.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a pressure test technician?

To thrive as a Pressure Test Technician, you need knowledge of pressure testing procedures, safety protocols, and a background in mechanical or technical fields, often supported by a high school diploma or vocational training.
