Are you an experienced pressroom professional who enjoys working with high-quality printing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Allied Printing Services is looking for a Second Pressman- Sheetfed. As a Second Pressman, you'll work alongside skilled Press Operators on state-of-the-art sheetfed presses playing a vital role in press setup, production, and maintaining the high standards our customers have trusted since 1949.
Second Pressman SheetfedWhat You'll Do:
  • Assist printing machine operators in the press room.
  • Responsible for loading paper, hanging plates, loading and maintaining ink in foundations.
  • Monitors and adjusts print quality, performs routine adjustments, and repairs if needed.
  • Monitor layouts, check that correct paper is issued, assist in the overall set up of the press such as sheet size, coatings, blankets etc.
  • Install, clean and adjust rollers.
What You Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in print industry client services, administrative support, or manufacturing operations.
  • Previous experience in account management, customer service, production planning, or estimating within printing or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with computers and experience using ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and communicate strategic production plans.

Physical Requirements:
Walking 50% | Standing 50%. Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 50 lbs. and more.

Job Type: Full Time
Shifts Available: 1st shift 8:00am- 4:00pm, 2nd shift 4:00pm-12:00 am (12 % differential), 3rd shift 12:00am-8:00am (15%differntial)
