Volt is immediately hiring an Injection Mold Operator (1st shift) in Chicopee, MA 01022.
As an Injection Mold Operator you will:
  • Produce high-quality plastic microplates used in laboratories worldwide
  • Operate injection molding machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Perform quality inspection of plastic molded parts
  • Package, stack, and bag finished products
  • Enter production data into computerized manufacturing systems
  • Follow standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions, and quality requirements
  • Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify product quality
  • Track production output, scrap, and downtime
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
  • Follow all company safety policies, GMP practices, and ISO quality standards.

This is a full time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as an Injection Mold Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, or Equipment Operator
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to follow written work instructions and manufacturing procedures
  • Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and attendance
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
