Job description

Located in Holland, MI
Salary: $28/hr
Press Brake Programmer/Operator | $28/hr | 3rd Shift
A fast-paced custom fabrication shop is looking for an experienced Press Brake Programmer/Operator to join their 3rd shift team! This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to grow their skillset.
Key Responsibilities
• Set up machines efficiently to minimize downtime and changeover time
• Determine proper bend sequence, tooling selection, and tonnage requirements
• Operate press brake to form parts to print specifications
• Adjust programs and setups as needed to maintain quality
• Read and Interpret blueprints including: bend callouts, tolerances, GD&T basics
• Assist less experienced operators when needed
• Suggest improvements to bend sequences, tooling, and setups
Requirements for Press Brake Operator/Programmer
• 3-7 years press brake experience in a fabrication environment
• Experience programming CNC press brakes
• Familiar with a variety of materials (steel, stainless, aluminum)
• Solid understanding of bend allowance/deduction, grain direction and springback
Work Environment/Schedule
• 3rd shift: 8:00pm-6:30am Monday-Friday (four day work week)
• Clean facility
