Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift

Location: Winona, MS
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience

Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Winona, Mississippi. This first-shift position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a metal fabrication environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and work orders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications.
  • Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each production job.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Safely load and unload materials from the machine.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with CNC press brake equipment.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
  • Ability to perform basic machine setups and tooling changes.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
