It's how we support one another, serve our customers, and continue raising the standard for commercial facilities services.
We're looking for an exceptional Vice President of Operations to help lead our next stage of growth.
This isn't a desk job. It's a field leadership role for someone who thrives where the work happens-coaching leaders, building relationships, solving problems, and creating operational excellence across every market we serve.
If you're passionate about developing people, driving accountability, and building organizations that perform at the highest level, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Vice President of Operations, you'll serve as Verde's senior field operations leader, partnering closely with our Chief Operating Officer to execute the company's operational strategy across every region.
You'll directly lead Operations Directors, Managers, and Supervisors while ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-quality service and our teams have the leadership they deserve.
Approximately 75% of your time will be spent in the field, working alongside our leaders and customers to turn strategy into measurable results. Bilingual proficiency required: English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
You'll be responsible for:
Building Great Leaders
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Operations Directors, Managers, and Supervisors through regular one-on-ones and leadership meetings.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain exceptional operational leaders.
  • Build succession plans that strengthen Verde's future.
  • Foster an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing leadership culture.
Driving Operational Excellence
  • Execute company-wide operational standards established by the Governance Team and COO.
  • Ensure consistency across staffing, onboarding, quality inspections, training, route cards, and service delivery.
  • Identify execution gaps and work directly with field leaders to solve them.
Leading in the Field
  • Conduct Leadership Visit Reports, Joint Inspections, and quarterly operational audits.
  • Support major customer implementations, acquisitions, and operational transitions.
  • Partner with Sales during RFP walkthroughs and operational planning.
  • Serve as the executive operational leader during critical customer situations.
Strengthening Customer Partnerships
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Verde's largest customers.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Coach Operations Directors on customer engagement and long-term relationship management.
Owning Business Performance
  • Partner with Finance to deliver regional financial performance.
  • Support staffing strategies, labor planning, and operational budgeting.
  • Utilize operational dashboards, HeySage, ADP, and reporting tools to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Our Core Values Guide Everything We Do
Safety
We are stewards of each other's mental and physical well-being.
You'll champion a safety-first culture by partnering with EHS, holding leaders accountable, supporting ongoing training, and driving our goal of zero preventable incidents.
Sustainability
We prioritize eco-friendly solutions.
You'll help ensure Verde's sustainability initiatives are consistently executed across every operation while partnering with Procurement and Operations to deliver environmentally responsible solutions.
Social Impact
We elevate diversity and give back.
You'll champion Verde's Mission, Vision, and Core Values while mentoring future leaders, supporting our Emerging Leaders Program, and building inclusive, engaged teams.

We bring the Verde Vibes to life.
You'll inspire accountability, celebrate wins, remove barriers, and create an environment where people enjoy coming to work while delivering exceptional service.
What Success Looks Like
You'll be responsible for delivering measurable operational performance across every region you lead, including:

  • OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain before start)
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75%, including extended travel during customer transitions and acquisitions
Why Verde?
We're building something different.

You'll have the opportunity to shape operations across the company, influence strategic decisions, develop future leaders, and create lasting impact for our employees and customers.
You'll join a team that believes ownership beats micromanagement, collaboration beats ego, and great culture creates great results.
