POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President of Operations for 10X Roofing is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the scalable operational infrastructure that enables member execution at scale. This role translates strategic objectives into standard operating systems, processes, training, compliance, technology, and performance management practices that ensure consistency, safety, quality, and satisfaction across the network.
You will own the “how” and “who” of operational execution, ensuring that members can deploy best practices at scale. This role collaborates across Product, Technology, Training, Customer Success, Sales, and executive leadership to operationalize strategy and drive continuous improvement.

OBJECTIVES

  • Translate strategic goals into operational plans, SOPs, and playbooks deployable across the member base
  • Build and maintain the operating system, including onboarding, training, safety, compliance, scheduling, capacity planning, and performance management
  • Implement dashboards, KPIs, and reporting infrastructure to measure safety, quality, throughput, productivity, NPS, EBITDA impact, and member satisfaction
  • Identify operational gaps across the member ecosystem and drive corrective action, standardization, and continuous improvement
  • Deploy systems, technologies, and tools that enhance productivity and competitive advantage across the network
  • Oversee operational onboarding and training for new members to ensure readiness to execute 10X Roofing standards
  • Ensure best-in-class safety practices, compliance, and certification standards across all member organizations
  • Support integrations, mergers, or acquisitions with an operational lens to ensure alignment, readiness, and performance
  • Collaborate with President and executive leadership on long-term operational strategy, resource allocation, and cost containment
  • Work with Finance to align KPIs, budgets, hiring forecasts, and cost efficiencies
  • Provide operational reporting, insights, and structured feedback loops to inform leadership and guide decision-making


COMPETENCIES

  • Deep knowledge of roofing industry operations including licensing, safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven success implementing SOPs, playbooks, KPIs, and systems-based execution at scale
  • Financial and analytical acumen to build budgets, model efficiencies, and forecast hiring needs
  • Experience leading operational integrations during mergers or acquisitions
  • Strong process engineering mindset to map workflows, remove bottlenecks, and drive standardization
  • Change management capability across diverse stakeholders to drive adoption of new systems and standards
  • Intermediate understanding of sales and marketing operations for alignment and supportEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 7–10+ years in operational leadership roles (Director, VP, COO, etc.)
