Job Description

Position Summary: The Outside Sales Rep will identify, contact and sell industrial product to customers. Will be responsible for maintaining and servicing new or existing industrial product customer accounts that may be established.


Daily Responsibilities:

Research new prospective customersย 

Contact new prospective customers

Receive phone inquiries from new and existing customers

Determine customer requirements

Log all contacts made and results of customer contact

Monitor order process progress for all assigned customers

Set appointments for face to face meetings

Prepare and report field reports of daily activities into CRM


Weekly Responsibilities:

Prepare and present report of prior week's quotation activities

Plan and log a contact schedule of new and existing customers by day

Prepare and report weekly sales activities

Prepare and submit weekly agendas for appointments with customers.

Monthly Responsibilities:

Prepare and report quotation activity and customer visits

Prepare and present a monthly forecast for the next month's sales performance

Prepare and report monthly sampling activity


Quarterly Responsibilities:

Prepare and present quarterly sales performance and activities

Prepare and present next quarter sales performance

Prepare and report number and types of new and existing customer

Annual Responsibilities:

Prepare and present year-end sales performance against forecast

Prepare and present next year's sales forecast and plans for achieving the forecast amount

Other Responsibilities:

Travel as required. 50% overnight travel.

Other duties as assigned by management

Bottom Line Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree required. Technical Bachelor's preferred.

2. 1-3 years of Industrial Sales experience. ย ย 

3. Currently located in the territory.

4. Linear motion (ball screws, guideways, actuators, linear motors) or related experience is a plus.
