JOB TITLE: Prepress Imposition Operator
LOCATION: Clarksville, TN
SHIFT: 1st Shift

ABOUT YOU: We are looking for an experienced Prepress Imposition Operator who has strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with excellent computer skills and the ability to multi-task. You must work well under the pressure of deadlines and have flexibility to learn and use new technology. If that sounds like YOU, please apply today!
This position works closely with Supervisor, Department Lead and Systems to ensure problems are addressed and solutions are successful. The Prepress Imposition Operator is responsible for creating and producing standardized functions of Commercial jobs including two or more of the following: generating templates in both Preps and Metrix, determining delivery of forms, adding pages and preview of finished signatures, output with proper curve for press and paper with proper marks to identify critical needs.
This position is responsible for effectively creating and producing the volume of work assigned, following the standards of quality and workflow of Imposition. The operator will perform work based on scheduled criteria.
YOU HAVE:
  • Experience: Working hands on knowledge of Imposition/Prinergy (CTP) structure and workflow. Imposition experience with Commercial jobs.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED. Post high school education (Tech School or some College) a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to create Imposition Templates in PREPS and Metrix software.
  • Great Communication Skills: Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work with people in a team environment. Provide routine feedback to the Department Lead on any issues that inhibit smooth production. Offer suggestions and participate in process improvements.
