A day in the pressroom

Join our Minster, OH team as the hands-on expert who brings designs to life on a sheetfed offset press. From first plate mount to final pull, you will guide each job to crisp, consistent results while keeping throughput, safety, and craftsmanship in balance.

What you will tackle
  • Prepare, set up, and run sheetfed offset presses to achieve high-quality output across varied substrates.
  • Continuously watch press performance and print quality, making timely adjustments to stay on spec.
  • Dial in ink and fountain solution, fine-tune color registration, and optimize press settings throughout the run.
  • Perform routine upkeep and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with teammates across prepress, press, and finishing to meet schedules and quality goals.
  • Keep the press area orderly and safe, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Document production details, materials used, and run data accurately.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or press operations is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience as an offset press operator or closely related role.
  • Solid grasp of print processes, color theory, paper and ink characteristics.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a pride in producing top-tier work.
  • Clear communicator and effective team collaborator.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime when required.
