Job description

Premier sheetfed offset and digital printing company in TN is searching to hire an experienced Prepress Lead to direct and oversee prepress operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise small group of prepress operators.
  • Participate in prepress operations as the Prepress Lead in the department.
  • Oversee production workflow, scheduling and staffing to ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget meeting and or exceeding client specifications.
  • Review and approve jobs before moving to the next stage.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Hire, train, and evaluate team members.
  • Support cross-department communication and customer satisfaction.
  •  

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5 years' prepress leadership and/or Team Lead experience.
  • 5+ years of desktop publishing experience; proficient on Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with imposition software such as Fuji XMF, Agfa Apogee, Prinergy etc. Requirement
  • Excellent knowledge of color management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of prepress and printing processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with leading, mentoring and training production prepress personnel
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively.
