Learn the ropes of working in a commercial kitchen preparing restaurant quality food. The Prep Cook is responsible for the preparation of ingredients and food items used in the hospital cafeteria, catering functions, and patient meal services. This position supports the kitchen team by preparing, portioning, cooking, and storing food products according to recipes, food safety standards, and departmental procedures. The Prep Cook contributes to a clean, safe, and efficient food service operation while promoting excellent customer service and quality food production.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous food preparation, restaurant, cafeteria, healthcare food service, or culinary experience preferred. Experience working in a fast paced kitchen environment preferred.
