Cook
Full Time, First Shift
Cooks, prepares, presents, and serves food items. Ensures that food is prepared in a manner, which is nutritious, safe, properly flavored and in compliance with sanitation and safety requirements, and accrediting agency standards for quality.
Job Duties:
  • Cooks and prepares various entrees, vegetables, sandwiches, and other menu items using standardized recipes.
  • Assists in proper labeling, dating, and rotation of product in dry storage, coolers and freezers. Assists in maintaining organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated and frozen products.
  • Replenishes food items as needed and prepares needed foods for next day's production.
  • Communicates and coordinates daily with Food Service Supervisor/ Manager on strategies to accomplish production and maintain quality standards.
  • Maintains clean and safe work environment by cleaning and sanitizing food service area and equipment after use and following routine cleaning schedule. Cleaning duties may include, but are not limited to: equipment, floors, walls, cook station and storage areas.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One to three months' experience
