Job description

Peninsula Plastics is looking for hard-working and motivated individuals to take on the role of machine operator on our second shift.

Please read the following information about our position before clicking "Apply":

Location: Must be able to travel between our facilities in Pontiac and Auburn Hills (within 1 mile of each other)

Shift: 2nd shift from 3:30PM to 2:00AM Monday to Thursday

Pay: $17.75/hr

*****MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON THE 1ST SHIFT FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS*****

Description:

Our company specializes in manufacturing reusable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our 2nd shift team as a Machine Operator.

Reports to: Team Leader and Supervisor
Responsibilities:

  • Operating air and hand tools including: routers, drills, scrapers, de-burring tools, and other basic hand tools
  • Operate machinery using established procedures
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work-station

Qualifications:

  • MINIMUM 3 years of experience in plant operations or other related fields
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • MUST HAVE A VEHICLE

  • Starting pay: $17.00/hr plus .75 shift premium
