We're looking for an experienced Pool Service Technician II to independently service residential pools and spas while delivering the high-quality workmanship and customer service Coastal Pools is known for.

What You'll Do

As a Pool Service Technician II, you'll manage your own daily service route while maintaining pools, troubleshooting equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine pool and spa maintenance including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, filter cleaning, and basket maintenance.
  • Test, balance, and adjust pool water chemistry safely and accurately.
  • Complete seasonal pool openings, closings, and post-renovation startups.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, valves, and timers.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs, including seals, O-rings, baskets, and valve adjustments.
  • Identify equipment concerns and communicate larger repair needs to the Service Manager.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, water chemistry readings, photographs, and customer notes in our CRM.
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service while educating homeowners on their pool systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and follow all company safety and chemical handling procedures.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum one year of pool service experience or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to independently manage a daily service route.
  • Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot common pool equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Valid Maryland driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain within your first year.
  • Pentair University training.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • NPC Startup Certification.
